For the first time in my homeschooling journey I felt seen and heard. Jodi is kind and compassionate and truly offers a safe space for the hard stuff of homeschooling and raising a child with Autism, ADHD and PDA. She offered me real advice on how to help him but also how to help myself, so that I can come to him with more peaceful and safe energy. It has only been a few weeks and already I see a difference in myself and my son. Thank God for Jodi!

About the Sessions:

How does one speak to their children without using words, just by simply using body language?  Listen to a clip from one of Jodi's training sessions.

Empowered Parent & Educator Consultations

Understand the child in front of you—and feel confident about what comes next.

Every child learns differently. Sometimes you need help understanding a struggle. Sometimes you need fresh ideas. And sometimes you simply need an experienced educator beside you to help you create a learning experience that truly fits your child.

These private consultations offer personalized support for parents, homeschool families, and educators who want to better understand and support the children they teach.

What Can We Explore Together?

Your one-hour Zoom consultation is shaped around your questions, the child you are supporting, and what you need right now.

We might explore:

  • 🌿 Reading, writing and language development

  • 🌿 Dyslexia, ADHD, autism, apraxia and other learning differences

  • 🌿 Waldorf-inspired teaching and the four temperaments

  • 🌿 Homeschool curriculum, rhythm and lesson planning

  • 🌿 Visual, creative and project-based learning

  • 🌿 Scaffolding and accommodations

  • 🌿 Your child's strengths, interests and individual learning style

  • 🌿 Archetypes and temperament as tools for understanding both the child and yourself

  • 🌿 Embodiment, regulation and creating a calmer learning relationship

  • 🌿 Discovering and embracing your own teacher self

  • 🌿 Finding more confidence, authenticity and joy in the way you guide a child

You don't need to arrive with a diagnosis, a crisis, or even a clearly defined question.

Come as you are. We'll begin with what feels most important right now.

Supporting the Person Who Teaches, Too

Sometimes the child isn't the only person who needs support.

Teaching—whether you're a parent, homeschooler or educator—asks you to bring your own presence, confidence and inner resources into the learning space.

Through embodiment practices, archetypal exploration, reflection and practical coaching, I can help you explore the kind of teacher you want to become: how you hold the learning space, how you respond when things become difficult, and how you remain connected to yourself while supporting the child in front of you.

This is what I call inviting your teacher self into the room.

You may come to me with a question about your child and discover that part of our work is supporting you. Or you may come specifically because you want to feel more grounded, confident and connected in your role as a parent or educator.

Both belong here.

What You'll Leave With

Depending on what brings you to our session, you may leave with:

  • Greater clarity about your child's learning, temperament or developmental needs

  • Individualized strategies you can begin using right away

  • New ideas for curriculum, rhythm, lessons or accommodations

  • A deeper understanding of your own patterns and teaching presence

  • Practical tools for creating more ease and connection around learning

  • Renewed confidence in yourself and the path you're creating

This isn't about finding a one-size-fits-all formula. It's about understanding what is happening beneath the surface and discovering what will support this child, this adult and this learning relationship.

About Your Consultant

I bring together a Master of Arts in Applied Linguistics, more than 20 years of experience working with children and families, and six years at Kimberton Waldorf School, where I worked with children across Grades 1–12.

My work is grounded in language and literacy development while also being deeply influenced by Waldorf education, child development, the four temperaments, Jungian archetypal work, embodiment practices and whole-child education.

I have also completed professional dyslexia training through Yale University's Overcoming Dyslexia program and am a Rapid Transformational Therapy (RTT®) Practitioner.

These different paths have shaped the way I see education: not simply as the teaching of academic skills, but as a relationship between the child, the learning and the person doing the teaching.
